Advance registration is required to insure that adequate educational supplies, meals and refreshments are available. If you can not register in advance, please email us or call us and let us know you're coming.

Fee Includes: Notebook, break refreshments and lunches. Transportation, lodging, and other meals NOT included.
A Certificate of Attendance is presented to each registrant. Proceedings are not published.

Refunds and Cancellations: If you cancel your registration, you will be charged a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations must be made in writing and received at least seven (7) working days prior to the start of the workshop. Cancellations made after October 15, 2008 or workshop "no shows" will be liable for the full fee. Enrollment substitutions may be made at any time. Please contact Pam at 574-256-5001.

Arrival:  Student Sign-in with pickup of Badges and Training Materials is Monday, October 27 from 12-5 p.m. Upon check-in you will be issued a photo ID which will be required for entrance to classes, lunches and breaks. Your classroom materials will be given to you at this time along with classroom location and schedule information.

Attire: Casual attire is acceptable.

Monday, October 27, 2008, 1:30 p.m. Hartzell Propeller Inc. has organized a free bus trip and visit to its facility located in Piqua, Ohio, for students registered for the Shot Peening and Blast Cleaning Workshop. Registration is required. Space is limited. Bus departs from the Hyatt Regency hotel at 1:30 p.m. and returns at 6:30 p.m.

Exam: Optional Level 1, 2, and 3, and Flapper Peening Exams for qualified students will be given on the morning of Friday, October 31. Cost of the exam is $100.00). More exam information.

Note: You should register for only ONE Shot Peening examination since the time allowed is usually not sufficient to take two exams at one workshop. (Exception: the Flapper Exam may be taken with a Level 1 or Level 2 Exam.) You can take successive levels of exams at any EI workshop or contact us for on-site training in your facilities.

 

The 2008 Workshop training and trade show will be held at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati in Cincinniti, Ohio, just 13 miles from the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The cost per night is $149 USD. (This special price is good as long as rooms are available). The hotel has set aside a block of rooms for workshop attendees. Due to class schedules it is very important that you register at the Hyatt Regency Cincinniti. Cut off date for room discount is October 11, 2008. Make your hotel reservations early to get into the Shot Peening Workshop rooms.
