This year we had two Shot Peener of the Year Awards.

The commercial Shot Peener of the Year was awarded to Jonathan Clarke from Delta in Atlanta, GA . Pictured on the right is Mr. Clarke hearing of the award, taking the Shot Peener oath of honor, and receiving the award from Jack Champaigne.

The academic Shot Peener of the Year was awarded to Prof. Lothar Wagner (not in attendance), of the Technical University of Brandenburg at Cottbus, Germany and Chairman of the 8th International Conference on Shotpeening to be held in Germany in September of 2002.
