    The model 254 controls were designed and built for the air pollution control industry in the early 1970's. The 254-I monitored and controlled baghouse fan motor current while the 254-T monitored and controlled baghouse temperature by modulating a tempering air inlet damper.

Note: early versions, shown above, used half-wave power supply circuit which tended to overheat. Later models used full-wave bridge power supply with center-tapped transformer. Two additional diodes were added to the back of the mother card.
Note: double-sided printed wiring cards used eyelets as vias to connect track from front to back side of mother card. If you experience erratic operation re-solder the vias before sending unit back for repair.

Initial shipments of the 254 controls went to Wheelabrator Air Pollution Controls in Pittsburgh, PA. Controls were manufactured by Electronics Inc at these locations:
