- Description of Product
The 1478C MagnaValve is a high accuracy (1% of full scale) version of
the 578C MagnaValve. It used a linearity compensation preamp. Adjustments
were made in 10% increments to achieve the high accuracy.Flow range
is 2-20 pounds/minute. This valve is often used with 1/4" to 1/2" nozzles.
It can be used with direct pressure, suction or gravity-suction type
peening machines. The pulse rate can be set to 15 Hertz at the FC control.

- This product can be repaired at the factory if the valve driver
module or preamp is defective. If the flow sensor is defective
it cannot be repaired. Please call for a returned goods RG number
along with a description of the product, its model number and
serial number. Please include description of symptoms or name
and phone number of technical contact person in case we need
additonal information for the repair. Cost for out of waranty
repairs are always sent to you for approval prior to repair.

Physical size of this next generation valve is approximately
the same but you must also use the next generation FC-24 controller
to be compatible with the 24Vdc power supply.

- Improved performance -
The 578-24 MagnaValve is lower cost with 2% of full scale accuracy
and increased range of 3 - 30 pounds/minute. It has diagnostic
LED's to help in installation and maintenance. Pulse rate of
15 Hertz is set at the MagnaValve by the factory. Valve is pre-calibrated
to your requirements of shot type and size.
